Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physicians
- Handle complex cases requiring expert-level proficiency
- Perform diagnostic testing, complete pulmonary function tests (PFTs), and arterial blood gas (ABG) machine maintenance
- Conduct treadmill testing, hemodynamic monitoring, special procedures, and electronystagmography (ENGs)
- Teach and mentor other respiratory therapy staff
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Expert proficiency level in respiratory care
- Experience performing a full range of respiratory care modalities including diagnostic testing and special procedures
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex patient cases
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a teaching or mentorship capacity within a respiratory therapy department
- Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring and advanced diagnostic procedures
