Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services within a Level III NICU environment, supporting neonatal and pediatric patient populations
- Perform and manage airway management procedures across assigned patient population
- Operate and manage ventilators including G5, Servo, Avea, HFOV, Jet, and V60/V30 equipment specific to patient needs
- Provide emergency department (ED) respiratory support as needed
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of current NICU RRT experience
- Level III NICU experience required
- Pediatric (PEDS) experience required
- Active NBRC Certification required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of overall experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Critical care experience strongly preferred
- PICU experience is preferred
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
