Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services within a Level III NICU environment, supporting a critically ill neonatal and pediatric patient population
- Perform and manage airway management and ventilator management using equipment including G5, Servo, Avea, HFOV, Jet, and V60/V30 ventilators
- Provide ED support as needed in coordination with the respiratory care department
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to prioritize patient care outcomes
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of current NICU RRT experience
- Level III NICU experience required
- Pediatric (PEDS) experience required
- NBRC Certification required
- Active and current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Critical care experience in a neonatal or pediatric setting
- PICU experience strongly preferred
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
