Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Attend and provide respiratory support at high-risk deliveries
- Manage and set up ventilators, including oscillators and CPAP equipment
- Operate the Drager VN500 ventilator
- Obtain and analyze arterial blood gases
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia Respiratory Therapist license required (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience required
- Minimum 2 years of experience with the Drager VN500 ventilator required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in high-risk neonatal or perinatal respiratory care settings
- Familiarity with oscillatory ventilation and advanced CPAP management
