Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services to adult patients in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders
- Operate and manage respiratory equipment including ventilators and oxygen delivery systems
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner within the facility's systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Active Florida Respiratory Therapy license — must be in hand prior to start
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Experience working with adult patient populations
- Availability to work 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an acute care or hospital setting
- Proficiency with mechanical ventilation management
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills in fast-paced environments
