Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct respiratory therapy care to adult patients in accordance with physician orders and established clinical protocols
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions using appropriate therapeutic interventions
- Operate and manage mechanical ventilators and other respiratory equipment
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately in the medical record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Active Florida Respiratory Therapy license required – must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Experience working with adult patient populations
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekend availability
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an acute care or hospital setting
- Proficiency with mechanical ventilation management
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills in fast-paced environments
