Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy to adult patients as ordered by physicians
- Perform diagnostic testing including complete pulmonary function tests (PFTs), treadmill testing, and arterial blood gas (ABG) machine maintenance
- Manage hemodynamic monitoring and special respiratory procedures
- Perform electronystagmography (ENG) and other advanced respiratory assessments
- Handle complex cases requiring expert-level clinical judgment
- Teach and mentor other respiratory therapy staff
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Expert proficiency level in respiratory therapy required
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex patient cases
- Experience with a full range of respiratory care modalities including diagnostic testing and special procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an adult acute care or hospital setting
- Prior experience mentoring or precepting respiratory therapy staff
- Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring and advanced respiratory procedures
