Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Block Schedule Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services within a critical access hospital setting with 25 staffed beds
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:13 within assigned unit
- Perform respiratory and neuro diagnostics assessments and treatments as assigned
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Participate in holiday coverage — must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Be available to float to nearby sister facilities as operationally required
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Valid Washington State license must be in hand at time of submission (compact license accepted)
- Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required
- Must commit to a block schedule; all RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals accepted at a different rate)
- 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a critical access or low-census hospital environment
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
- Experience with neuro diagnostics in addition to respiratory therapy
