Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity respiratory therapy care within NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings, focusing on pediatric patients
• Deliver care at a Level 4 care designation, managing complex and critically ill pediatric populations
• Float as needed to additional NICU and pediatric rehabilitation locations within the health system
• Maintain compliance with all facility-specific onboarding requirements, including fingerprinting and annual competency modules
• Adhere to a nicotine-free policy and complete required drug screening prior to and during contract

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• NBRC certification – active and in hand at time of submission
• Active BLS certification
• Active Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Active PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in PEDS, PICU, and/or NICU (Level 4 high acuity)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating across multiple units or facilities within a large health system
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-acuity pediatric and neonatal patient populations across varied care environments
