Key Responsibilities
- Deliver respiratory therapy services as prescribed by provider order
- Operate and navigate electronic health record and medication dispensing systems including Epic and Pyxis
- Sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently throughout the shift, including extended periods as needed
- Lift up to 25 pounds on occasion
- Communicate effectively in face-to-face, phone, and electronic formats
- Work in an environment with potential exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, and chemicals
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required — CRT credentials are not accepted
- Active Ohio Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) license required prior to start
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
- Finger dexterity sufficient to operate office and clinical equipment
- Vision and hearing within normal range, with or without correction
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience using Epic electronic health records
- Familiarity with Pyxis medication dispensing systems
