Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory and neuro diagnostic therapy services across assigned units during night shift hours
- Float to additional facility locations as needed to support patient care demands
- Work weekends as needed per departmental scheduling requirements
- Maintain compliance with all facility-required annual competencies, modules, and credentialing requirements
- Complete BCI/FBI background fingerprinting within 48 hours of contract signing
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Active Ohio RRT license required — must be in hand at time of submission
- Active NBRC certification required — must be in hand at time of submission
- Active BLS certification required — must be in hand at time of submission
- Must pass a 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) — facility is nicotine-free with no exceptions
- Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from assignments worked within the past 12 months, are required; co-worker references are not accepted
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in neuro diagnostics or a related subspecialty within respiratory therapy
- Familiarity with float pool or multi-unit respiratory therapy environments
- Prior travel therapy experience with demonstrated compliance in high-requirement facility settings
