Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Perform neurological and respiratory diagnostic procedures as assigned
- Float to other facility locations as needed
- Maintain compliance with all facility-required annual competencies, modules, and credentialing requirements
- Complete BCI/FBI background fingerprinting within 48 hours of contract signing
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Active Ohio RRT license – must be in hand at time of submission
- Active NBRC certification – must be in hand at time of submission
- Active BLS certification – must be in hand at time of submission
- Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start date
- No license hits of any kind will be accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an Emergency Department respiratory therapy role
- Experience working in a large acute care or health system environment
- Demonstrated ability to float across multiple units or facilities
