Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend required (including Sundays); holiday rotation required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services within NICU and PICU settings under a night shift schedule
- Float within the hospital as needed, potentially including an additional campus location
- Maintain compliance with all unit-specific protocols, documentation standards, and patient care requirements
- Complete charting and documentation accurately, with Epic experience preferred
- Adhere to scheduling requirements including every-other-weekend and holiday rotation commitments
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy, specifically within the applying specialty (NICU/PICU)
- Valid Ohio Single State or Multi-State Respiratory Therapy License required at time of submission
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Supervisor reference required within the past 2 years
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates; candidates residing within 50 miles will be considered local and local rates will apply
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic electronic health records system
- Prior travel/contract assignment experience
- Familiarity with pediatric acute care environments including NICU and PICU settings
