Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend (Sunday at minimum) | Holiday rotation required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services within NICU and PICU settings under a night shift schedule
- Float within the hospital as needed, including to an additional campus location
- Maintain compliance with all required certifications, including ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- Adhere to scheduling requirements, including every-other-weekend (Sunday) coverage and holiday rotation
- Document patient care accurately, with Epic charting experience preferred
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy, specifically within the applying specialty (NICU/PICU)
- Valid Ohio Single State or Multi-State Respiratory Therapy license required at time of submission
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required; copies must be included in submission profile
- Supervisor reference required within the past 2 years
- No previous license hits — clean background required
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates; candidates within 50 miles will be classified as local and local rates will apply
- Time-off requests must be submitted at time of candidate submission; a maximum of 5 days may be requested, and block scheduling is not permitted except for Friday–Sunday weekends
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic electronic health records system
- Prior travel therapy experience welcomed; first-time travelers with the required specialty experience will be considered
