    Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (4x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 or 48 hours per week available | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide respiratory therapy services within a pediatric hospital setting, including NICU and PICU environments
    • Perform respiratory and neuro diagnostic assessments and interventions in accordance with patient care plans
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality respiratory care to pediatric patients
    • Participate in a self-scheduling model while meeting unit coverage requirements including weekends and holidays
    • Float within scope of practice to other units as needed per facility policy
    Required Qualifications
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
    • Minimum Level 4 NICU experience required
    • Valid state Respiratory Therapy license (Virginia license or pending license accepted; temp license must be obtained prior to start date; an active license in another state is required to be eligible for a temporary license)
    • Epic EMR experience required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) certification preferred
    • Cardiac PICU experience preferred
