    Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide respiratory therapy services within a children's hospital setting, including care across specialized pediatric units
    • Deliver care in a Level 4 NICU environment, managing complex neonatal patients
    • Support patients in cardiac PICU as needed, within scope of practice
    • Float within scope of practice to other units as operationally required
    • Document care and clinical activities accurately using Epic EMR
    Required Qualifications
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
    • BLS certification required
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
    • Active Virginia state license required; pending VA license accepted provided a temporary license can be obtained before the start date — candidate must hold a valid license in at least one other state to be eligible for a temporary VA license
    • Minimum Level 4 NICU experience required
    • Epic EMR experience required
    • Must meet a 50-mile distance requirement from the facility to be eligible for this position
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Cardiac PICU experience preferred
    • Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) certification preferred
