Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy care in a Level 4 NICU and Pediatric Cardiac unit within a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital
- Deliver age-appropriate respiratory interventions for pediatric, neonatal, and infant patient populations
- Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling as required
- Document patient care and clinical information using Epic electronic health records
- May float within scope of practice to meet facility needs depending on experience level
Required Qualifications
- Active RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification through NBRC
- Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license — must be in hand at time of start
- Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Hands-on experience with pediatric, neonatal, and infant patient populations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic electronic health records system
- Background in Level 4 NICU or Pediatric Cardiac care settings
