Conduct patient assessments, correlate care with patient needs, and monitor responses to respiratory treatments including pharmacological interventions
Perform and document Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) punctures accurately, reporting results promptly
Follow respiratory protocols, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and regulatory standards during all procedures
Manage ventilator settings and airway maintenance to ensure optimal patient comfort and safety during respiratory support

Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist required
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care required
Active New Mexico (NM) Respiratory Therapy license required
ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required (must be willing to obtain NRP before or immediately after start if not already held)
Pediatric and neonatal experience required
Experience with MedHost EMR preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
Familiarity with MedHost EMR system
Experience providing both inpatient and outpatient cardiopulmonary services
Strong documentation and clinical reporting skills in a fast-paced acute care environment
