    Travel Respiratory Therapist – Registered (Nights)

    Location

    Broken Arrow, OK | Long Term Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide cardiopulmonary diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatients and outpatients following protocols approved by the medical staff
    • Perform ventilator management and ventilator weaning for critically ill patients
    • Maintain airways including tracheostomy and ET tube management; administer CPAP, BiPAP, and nebulizer treatments
    • Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures including intubations and insertion of arterial lines
    • Conduct pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas analysis
    • Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas in accordance with department policy and procedures
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience with ventilator management, ventilator weaning, tracheostomy, ET tube, CPAP, BiPAP, and nebulizer treatments
    • Active Oklahoma Respiratory Therapy (RT) license required
    • NBRC RRT or CRT certification required
    • ACLS and BLS certifications required — must be issued through the American Heart Association
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel therapy experience
    • Experience working in a long-term acute care or specialty hospital environment
    • Familiarity with multiple electronic medical record (EMR) systems
