Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Expected 36 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services during night shift hours in a high-acuity clinical environment
- Apply lung protective ventilation strategies based on patient assessment and clinical needs
- Make ventilator management decisions informed by patient assessment and laboratory results
- Participate as an active member of the Code Blue team
- Deliver care across adult critical care and NICU Level 3 settings
Required Qualifications
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification required
- Active Massachusetts Respiratory Care license required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma facility with NICU Level 3 and adult critical care experience
- Candidates residing less than 50 miles from the facility will be classified under a local rate structure
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NPS (Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist) certification
- ACCS (Adult Critical Care Specialist) certification
