    Job Title

    Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist – NICU (Night Shift)

    Location

    Brandon, FL | Level 3 NICU – Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every other weekend and holidays on rotation

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide respiratory therapy coverage in a 36-bed Level 3 NICU, maintaining a 2-therapist staffing model during peak volumes
    • Manage conventional and high-frequency oscillatory ventilation using Drager VN500 ventilators and 3100A Oscillators
    • Administer surfactant and Nitric Oxide therapy using Mallinckrodt systems; support Vapotherm high-flow therapy
    • Perform blood gas acquisition and interpretation
    • Attend high-risk deliveries as a member of the clinical team
    • Document patient care accurately using Meditech and NeoNotes EMR systems
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience; Level 3 NICU experience required (candidates with 3–5 years of Level 2 NICU experience may be considered)
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
    • Ability to work independently, think critically, and maintain strong attention to detail
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • STABLE certification preferred; candidates holding this certification will be given priority consideration
    • Experience with high-frequency oscillatory ventilation and Nitric Oxide administration
    • Familiarity with Meditech and/or NeoNotes EMR platforms
