Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Expected schedule includes every other weekend and holidays in rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services within a high-acuity hospital setting, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring of patients with respiratory conditions
- Operate and manage ventilator equipment including Servo I, GE, V60, Airvo, and Vapotherm devices
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe and effective respiratory care
- Adhere to facility policies, unit guidelines, and scrub color requirements (Grey for RT staff)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NRP or STABLE certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ICU experience strongly preferred
- 2 or more years of respiratory therapy experience
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
