    Job Title

    Registered Respiratory Therapist – NICU

    Location

    Boston, MA

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 36 hours per week | Every third weekend rotation

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform and interpret respiratory tests and procedures to assess and manage patient care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
    • Work autonomously across a variety of clinical settings, including administration of respiratory care protocols
    • Manage artificial airways and mechanical ventilation in Level 2 and Level 3 NICU and Special Care Nursery environments
    • Administer aerosolized medications and provide oxygen therapy
    • Participate in delivery room coverage as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
    • Current CPR (AHA) certification required
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
    • Minimum 2 years of related work experience required, with NICU experience required
    • Must be certified to manage artificial airways, mechanical ventilation, aerosolized medications, and oxygen therapy
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Delivery room experience preferred
    • Pediatric respiratory therapy experience may be considered in addition to NICU experience
