Contract | Nights, 12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Expected 36 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services in an inpatient acute care setting across adult and neonatal patient populations
- Apply lung protective ventilation strategies based on patient assessment and laboratory results
- Make independent ventilator management decisions in collaboration with the clinical care team
- Participate as an active member of the Code Blue team
- Deliver care in alignment with Level 1 or Level 2 trauma facility standards, including NICU Level 3 and adult critical care environments
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma facility with NICU Level 3 and adult critical care experience
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Active Massachusetts Respiratory Care License required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard rate; candidates residing within 50 miles may be subject to a local rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist (NPS) certification preferred
- Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) certification preferred
