Travel Respiratory Therapy Technician in Boise, ID

Key Responsibilities Manage all respiratory therapy equipment, treatments, patient transport, and arterial blood gases (ABGs) across inpatient adult and pediatric floors, including NICU. Operate and monitor ventilators and respiratory support equipment including Draeger (adult), Servo U (Peds), V60 BiPAP, Vapotherm, Optiflow, and Hill-Rom devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all respiratory therapy equipment, treatments, patient transport, and arterial blood gases (ABGs) across inpatient adult and pediatric floors, including NICU
• Perform 36–42 treatments per 12-hour shift across assigned patient populations
• Operate and monitor ventilators and respiratory support equipment including Draeger (adult), Servo U (Peds), V60 BiPAP, Vapotherm, Optiflow, and Hill-Rom devices
• Assist with intubation procedures as directed; independent intubation is not required
• Collaborate with on-shift lead therapist, hospitalists, and intensivists available in-house 24/7
• Float to additional local facilities as needed

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a minimum of 2–3 years of experience, OR Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with a minimum of 3–5 years of experience
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications (adult patients)
• Experience working with adult and pediatric patient populations
• Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and holidays as scheduled

Preferred Experience / Skills

• RRT credential preferred over CRT
• Experience with NAVA (Neurally Adjusted Ventilatory Assist) on Cervo ventilators for NICU coverage
• Familiarity with Servo U ventilators and Optiflow/PICU respiratory support equipment
