    Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel | Nights

    Location

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours/Week | 13-Week Assignment

    Key Responsibilities
    • Float throughout all hospital departments providing respiratory therapy services to a patient population ranging from newborns to adults
    • Provide respiratory care in the ICU, ER, Nursery (Level 1), and Med/Surg floors, including treatment of pediatric patients requiring intubation and mechanical ventilation
    • Attend high-risk C-sections and participate as an active member of the neonatal resuscitation team
    • Operate and manage ventilators and respiratory equipment including Drager V500, Hamilton T-1, V60 BiPAP, Airvo high-flow oxygen units, Neopuff, and RAM cannula
    • Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic medical records system
    • Conduct thorough patient assessments and respond to acute respiratory needs across all care settings
    Required Qualifications
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy
    • Active certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS
    • Experience working in an adult ICU and treating pediatric patients in the ER
    • Experience in a nursery setting, including attendance at high-risk deliveries and participation in resuscitation teams
    • Proficiency with Drager V500, Hamilton T-1, Neopuff, and EPIC documentation system
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • NICU and/or PICU experience demonstrating comfort and competency with critically ill newborns and pediatric patients
    • Experience with V60 BiPAP, Airvo high-flow oxygen units, and RAM cannula
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a team-oriented, positive attitude
