Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services within a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit setting
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 throughout assigned shifts
- Document patient care and clinical data accurately using Epic EMR
- Participate in holiday coverage rotation, expected to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's)
- Be prepared to serve on an emergency team or relief team in the event of a facility-declared emergency, as directed by unit management
Required Qualifications
- Active RRT or CRT credential required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Epic EMR experience required
- Compact or Louisiana state license must be in hand at time of submittal
- Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (as measured from the address on file with the driver's license to the facility) to be eligible — local travelers are not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Level 3 NICU experience is highly preferred
- Prior travel therapy experience welcomed, including first-time travelers with 1 or more years of clinical experience
