Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services on a fast-paced acute care unit with 71 beds
- Operate and monitor equipment including 980s, V60s, MetaNeb, C-1, Nihon Kohden, and AIRVO devices
- Deliver patient care during night shift hours in accordance with unit protocols and standards
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of up to 16 staff members per shift
- Maintain current RRT credential throughout the duration of the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential — required; candidates without this credential will not be considered
- Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
- Proficiency with respiratory equipment including 980s, V60s, MetaNeb, C-1, Nihon Kohden, and AIRVO
- Availability to work weekends as required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel or contract respiratory therapy experience
- Experience in a cardiac or specialty acute care environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in acute care settings
