Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Expected schedule includes at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services across adult, NICU, and pediatric service lines within a high-acuity hospital setting
- Operate and manage ventilators including GE R860 adult vents, Draeger infant/pediatric vents, Newport HT70 transport vents, and V60 non-invasive devices
- Utilize high-flow oxygen delivery systems including Vapotherm and Comfort Flow devices
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
- Float to all critical care units and floor areas as needed
- Maintain compliance with all unit guidelines, dress code (medium gray/pewter scrubs), and departmental policies
Required Qualifications
- Active North Carolina Respiratory Therapy License required
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential required — CRTs will not be considered
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Ability to manage patient ratios ranging from 10 to 25 patients
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Experience in NICU or pediatric respiratory care settings
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR
