Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services across adult, NICU, and pediatric service lines within a high-acuity hospital setting
- Operate and manage ventilators including GE R860 adult vents, Draeger infant/pediatric vents, Newport HT70 transport vents, and V60 non-invasive devices
- Utilize high-flow oxygen delivery devices including Vapotherm and Comfort Flow systems
- Document patient care and clinical data accurately using Cerner EMR
- Float to all critical care units and floor areas as needed based on patient census and staffing requirements
- Maintain weekend availability with a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
Required Qualifications
- Active North Carolina Respiratory Therapy License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Experience working in NICU or pediatric respiratory care settings
