Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services within a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Assess, treat, and monitor neonatal patients requiring respiratory support and intervention
- Operate and manage respiratory equipment appropriate to the NICU setting
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech documentation system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality neonatal respiratory care
- Float to other units as needed per facility floating policy
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required; candidates without NICU experience will not be considered
- Level III NICU experience is required
- Proficiency with Meditech or comparable clinical documentation systems
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with advanced neonatal respiratory procedures and equipment
- Familiarity with neonatal-specific ventilator management and monitoring
- Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into an established NICU team
