Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist, RRT located on the campus of a childrens hospital in the Denver metro area. This position involves providing specialized respiratory care to pediatric and neonatal patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), including neonatal and pediatric ICU settings. The role requires clinical expertise in pediatric trauma and ICU care, with a strong emphasis on maintaining standards aligned with pediatric and neonatal critical care.
Job Details
- Position Title: Respiratory Therapist, RRT
- Location: Denver metro area, within thirty-five (35) miles of the assigned facility
- Assignment Dates: 01/05/2026 to 04/10/2027
- Schedule: 12-hour days, from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, with a minimum of 48 hours per week
- Travel Required: Yes
- Float: Float rotation may be required, including reassignments within their clinical competence across Anschutz and network of care locations (North or South)
- Required Qualifications: Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Cardiopulmonary, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification, minimum 3 years Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience, minimum 3 years Neonatal ICU experience, minimum 1 year Pediatric Level 1 Trauma experience, ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP certifications, and prior travel assignment experience
- Additional Information: Must work observed holidays if they fall within the contract period; no requested time off approved within the first two weeks
