Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with NICU experience for a night shift travel assignment at a hospital in Fort Worth, TX.

Details

• Full-service hospital setting in the Respiratory Therapy department
• Cares for patients across all age ranges, including NICU and ICU populations
• Night shift hours from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Meditech documentation system
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week with potential to pick up a 4th shift

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience required
• NICU experience required
• ICU experience required
• ED experience required
• Must be able to draw ABGs
• BLS certification required
• RRT license required if applicable
• Experience with Servo I ventilator preferred
• Experience with I-Stat preferred
• Good customer service skills required

Additional Information

• Perform procedures including ABGs, assisting with intubation, nebulizer treatments, Metaneb, IPPB, and CPT
• Black scrubs required and must be purchased by candidate
• Must maintain clean and healthy nails with no artificial enhancements
• Hair must be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab
• Body art should be covered whenever feasible
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility and local candidates will not be considered
