• Mechanical ventilators

Hiring Profile

Must-Have Experience

• Previous ICU experience

• Strong respiratory assessment and critical-care skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment

Typical Procedures & Responsibilities

• Nebulizer treatments

• BiPAP / CPAP management

• Ventilator management

• Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) collection/analysis

• Respiratory assessment and treatment

• Oxygen therapy

• Enjoys a fast-paced environment

• Is adaptable and able to prioritize multiple respiratory-care needs

• Has strong critical-thinking and clinical skills

• Works well as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Current RRT credential
• Current Virginia State License
• Current BLS
• Current ACLS
• NRP
• NBRC
• PALS

Dress Code

• Navy Blue scrubs

• Follow facility hygiene and professional dress requirements

Weekends & Call

• Rotating weekends

• Call preferred: One 24-hour call shift approximately every 5 6 weeks
