Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) position located within the area. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care to adult patients, including those with respiratory and cardiac conditions, orthopedic needs, and more. The position requires flexibility to work in multiple departments such as ICU, Emergency Room, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Psychiatric units, with a focus on adult patient populations. The schedule comprises 12-hour night shifts every other weekend, including call and holiday responsibilities.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, every other weekend, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) or equivalent certifying body, BLS certification, RRT license, and experience with Electronic Health Records (Epic). Travel experience is required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Highly desired to have Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Additional Information:
- Locals are accepted (75 miles or less) at lower breadth of assignment.
- All time off must be submitted at the time of application; no holiday time off can be accommodated.
- Must be able to work across ER, ICU, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, Diagnostic, and Psychiatric units, including NICU if applicable.
- Floating to ICU, Emergency Department, and other units within 30 miles of the original facility may be required within clinical competence.
- IVS (Interviews and Scheduling) to review and coordinate with the manager for interviews and offers.
- Mandatory overtime may be required as part of unit coverage.
