Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU, PICU, CVICU

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with experience in high-level pediatric care in NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care to pediatric patients in our critical care units. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care while adhering to established protocols and standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced respiratory therapy treatments and evaluations for pediatric patients in the NICU, PICU, and CVICU.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor and assess respiratory function, adjusting treatment as needed based on patient response.
• Provide education and support to patients' families regarding respiratory care and disease management.
• Perform high-level care procedures in compliance with facility policies and industry standards.

Schedule

This is a night shift position, working 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of two (2) years of direct experience in pediatric critical care settings (NICU, PICU, CVICU).
• Active Ohio RRT license required.
• Must possess NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS certifications, all active and in hand at the time of submission.
• Experience floating to other associated facilities is preferred.
