Description

American Traveler is seeking a NICU RRT for a 13-week contract requiring current RRT licensure, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.

Details

• Respiratory Care unit within a hospital setting
• Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) patient population
• Performs nebulizer treatments, oxygen therapy, and ventilator management
• 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Days and weekends rotate
• No call requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in NICU respiratory care
• Current RRT license required if applicable
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
• NRP certification must be Advanced 9th Edition
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• ICU, NICU, and PICU experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory care services to neonatal patients including nebulizer treatments, oxygen therapy, and ventilator management
• Scrub color requirement is olive green tops and black bottoms
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
