12-hour night shifts, including weekends as scheduled.

Job Description

The Licensed Respiratory Therapist will function under the supervision of the cardiopulmonary director or supervisor, providing essential cardiopulmonary care in general patient care areas. Advanced patient care responsibilities and duties may also be assigned as deemed appropriate by the director or supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic and advanced cardiopulmonary care to patients.
  • Utilize the Epic charting system for patient documentation and care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Must be a licensed and registered Respiratory Therapist with the appropriate state board.
  • Experience using the Epic healthcare software.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification via the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
