Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist with at least 2 years of RRT experience and NICU experience for a night shift position at a regional referral center.

Details

  • Work within a Respiratory Therapy unit providing care in adult, pediatric, and neonatal critical care areas
  • 12-hour night shift schedule
  • Weekend rotation required
  • On-call rotation required
  • Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy required
  • Minimum 2 years of RRT experience required
  • NICU experience required
  • Active state license required if applicable
  • BLS (AHA) certification required
  • ACLS (AHA) certification required
  • PALS (AHA) certification required
  • NRP certification required

Additional Information

  • Provide patient care activities in critical care areas including adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations
  • Train other RT personnel in critical care areas
  • First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
  • Local candidates will be considered at a reduced rate
  • Candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be considered at a reduced travel rate
  • Maximum of 5 days of requested RTO
  • Former direct employees of the facility are not eligible to return through an agency until after 6 months from their employment end date
