Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist Tech for a day shift assignment requiring RRT certification and 2+ years of experience across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations.

Details

• Cardiopulmonary/Respiratory Therapy modality position
• Day shift hours (0630-1900), three 12-hour shifts weekly (36 hours)
• 15-week contract
• No guarantee of hours
• Provides continuous airway management, ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management and support
• Responsibilities include physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care
• Utilizes computerized charting, Pyxis medication management, PB 980 and PB 840 ventilators, V60, and Para Pac Transport Vent

Requirements

• Active State of Hawaii Respiratory Therapist license required; current license preferred, but candidates with an application already submitted will be considered (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must be able to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
• RRT certification required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS certification required; NRP preferred
• Prior travel assignment experience required

Additional Information

• All travelers must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to the start of the assignment
• Candidates should plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start to report to Employee Health that Friday morning
• Proof of flu vaccination or an approved medical/religious exception is required prior to contract start, and flu vaccination can be administered during the employee health clearance appointment
• COVID-19 vaccination is required
