- Required Qualifications: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), BLS, ACLS; No minimum years of experience required; Virginia state license preferred
- Type of Equipment: PB840s and 980s, Phillips V60s, Hamilton C-1s
- Procedures performed on unit: Respiratory procedures including ventilator management, airway management, and patient assessment
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS; PALS and NRP preferred
- Unit Specifics: 76-bed unit with ICU, CMU, MS components; Level 3 trauma, stroke-ready, magnet designation, chest pain center; outdoor activities in the Blue Ridge Mountains; home of Virginia Tech University
- Unit guidelines/policies: Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines
- Awards/Recognition: High engagement scores, recognized for outstanding team performance, many staff members are long-term travelers
- Additional Information: Highly engaged staff and manager, flexible scheduling, great facility culture; many travelers stay as long as possible and return for additional assignments
