Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehab Unit position on night shift, requiring prior rehab nursing experience and a WA or compact RN license.

Details

• Work on a 10-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients with orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular, stroke, amputation, and traumatic brain injury diagnoses
• Patient ratio of 5:1
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required, with weekend days being Sat/Sun and weekend nights Fri/Sat
• No on-call requirements
• Occasional floating to med/surg as needed by the hospital
• Uses Omnicell equipment and Meditech EHR

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• AHA certifications required (BLS)
• CCRN preferred but not required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Rehab nursing experience required
• Experience with rehabilitation documentation including GG scoring preferred
• RN degree/education required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to inpatient rehab patients recovering from stroke, TBI, amputation, and orthopedic conditions
• Collaborative, team-oriented personality fit preferred
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
