Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Inpatient Rehab position requiring 1.5 years of rehab experience and a NM or compact RN license in hand.

Details

Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting (not a nursing home or LTAC)
Rehab unit with patients averaging a 14-day length of stay
Day shift schedule: 3x12 hours, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
Every other weekend required
Uses Cerner charting system

Requirements

Active RN license (NM or compact) required in hand at time of consideration
Current BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred, and required for Charge Nurse role
1.5 years of inpatient rehab experience required within the last 2 years
Prior travel nursing experience required
Cerner charting experience required
One professional reference required at time of consideration

Additional Information

Provide direct patient care within an inpatient rehab hospital environment
Scrub color requirement: black or dark blue with closed-toed shoes
Free on-site parking available
RTO must be submitted and approved at time of consideration; no RTO approved after being offered
Employees cannot take every holiday off
Any call-outs require more than 24 hours advance notice
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Local candidates accepted
Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius are booked at the local rate
