Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) night shift position requiring an active OR RN license and Epic EHR experience.

Details

• >42-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital (IRF)
• Rehab Nursing IRF unit on the 1st floor
• Adult patient population with some geriatric and rehab patients
• RN/LPN to patient ratio of 5:1, CNA ratio of 7:1
• Uses Epic EHR and Pyxis medication dispensing system
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend rotation required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating requirements

Requirements

• Active OR RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• Minimum 1+ years of RN experience required, no new graduates
• IRF and Med-Surg experience required
• Epic EHR experience required
• No LTC experience accepted

Additional Information

• Provide individualized rehabilitative nursing care to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
• Support comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs aimed at maximizing patient health, function, and quality of life
• Scrubs of any color are permitted
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
• First-time travelers are not specified as eligible for this position
