Description

American Traveler is hiring a Rehab RN for a night shift inpatient acute rehab hospital position requiring an active OR RN license and at least 1 year of IRF/Med-Surg experience.

Details

• Work in a 42-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
• Rehab Nursing unit caring for adult and some geriatric patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
• Patient ratios of 5:1 RN/LPN and 7:1 CNA
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend rotation required
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating required
• Uses Epic EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing system
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active OR RN license required on hand
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• New grads not considered
• IRF and Med-Surg experience required
• LTC experience not accepted
• Epic EMR experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care within an inpatient rehabilitation setting following individualized treatment plans
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• First-time travelers are not specified as accepted or excluded
