Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility night shift position requiring Cerner experience and at least 1 year of IRF or Med-Surg background.

Details

• Inpatient Rehabilitation Nursing unit within a rehabilitation hospital
• Unit has 14-28 beds with plans to expand to a second unit on the same floor
• Patient population is adults over 18 with stroke, brain injury, amputation, multi-trauma, hip fracture, SCI, debility, and cardiac diagnoses
• Patient ratios are 6:1 for RN and 7:1 for LPN
• Uses Cerner EHR and Omnicell equipment
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend rotation required
• No floating required
• No call requirements

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA certifications required)
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required, no new graduates considered
• IRF and Med-Surg experience required
• Cerner EHR experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Works within a transdisciplinary team model in a collaborative team environment
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Report time is 6:45 AM or 6:45 PM depending on shift
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel assignment
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
