Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Inpatient Rehab Unit position on night shift, requiring 2+ years of experience and an active AL or compact RN license.

Details

  • Inpatient Rehab Unit within a hospital setting
  • 32-bed unit with a 1:7 patient ratio
  • Geriatric and adult patient population, including stroke, multiple trauma, and ortho/neuro diagnoses
  • Night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM
  • Every other weekend required
  • No on-call requirements

Requirements

  • Active RN license (AL or compact) required
  • 2+ years of RN experience required
  • Proficiency in IV insertion, blood transfusions, and wound care required
  • Rehab specialty experience preferred but not required

Additional Information

  • Provide direct nursing care to rehab patients recovering from strokes, trauma, and ortho/neuro conditions
  • Report to the unit's Nurse Manager
  • Weekly orientation held on Mondays
  • Scrub color requirement: navy or royal blue
  • Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
  • Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
  • Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
