Description
American Traveler is hiring a Rehab RN for a 13-week inpatient assignment requiring an active AL or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience.
Details
- Inpatient Rehab Unit setting within an acute care hospital
- 32-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:7
- Geriatric and adult patient population with diagnoses including strokes, multiple trauma, and ortho/neuro conditions
- 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active RN license (AL or compact) required
- 2+ years of nursing experience required
- Experience with IVs, blood transfusions, and wound care required
- AHA certifications required
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care within a rehabilitation unit under the direction of the nurse manager
- Rehab experience preferred but not required
- Weekly orientation held on Mondays
- Scrub color required: navy or royal blue
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
