Description

American Traveler is hiring a Rehabilitation RN for an inpatient rehab hospital night shift position requiring an active FL or compact RN license and 2+ years of rehab nursing experience.

Details

• Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 50 beds across 2 floors
• Patient population recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
• Patient ratio of 1:8
• Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Uses Cerner EHR
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (FL or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum of 2 years rehabilitation nursing experience required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree required
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency required

Additional Information

• Must be a cooperative team player
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Report time is 6:45 AM/6:45 PM
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the position
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis
