Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for an acute rehabilitation hospital. This facility offers an 80-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation program focused on the treatment and recovery of individuals recovering from severe injuries or illnesses such as stroke, brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries. As an RN, you will play a critical role in the ongoing care and rehabilitation of patients, tailored to their specific needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to rehabilitation patients.
• Administer medications and perform IV starts, feeding tube management, and wound care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop personalized care plans.
• Monitor patients' progress and report changes in their condition.
• Educate patients and their families on post-rehabilitation care and recovery plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• CNA certification is preferred.
• Experience in acute care is required; rehabilitation experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in managing feeding tubes, ostomies, and wound care is essential.
